E. L. Chen’s YA fantasy Summerwood/Winterwood was longlisted for the Sunburst and recommended as a Best Book for Kids and Teens by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre. Her short fiction has appeared in venues such as Strange Horizons, On Spec, and The Dark. Her contemporary gothic novella Sweetside Motel is forthcoming from Interstellar Flight Press, and her horror novel Slasher Summer will be published by Penguin Michael Joseph and Crown, followed by One Of Us Is Already Dead from Run For It. She lives in Toronto, Canada with her son and a towering TBR pile.
